Brandon Taylor

Consultant

Brandon Taylor, CFRE is a high-level fund development professional with over 15 years’ experience in philanthropy. Brandon has served as a Director of Major Gifts for Nashville Rescue Mission, where he was responsible for a portfolio of 200+ major donors. In his four-year tenure at the Nashville Rescue Mission, Brandon initiated and managed a new year-end campaign to engage lapsed donors, which raised over $200,000.

Brandon has also held senior development positions at organizations such as Meharry Medical College, one of the nation’s oldest and largest historically black academic health science centers.

He has held development and marketing positions at large nonprofits, such as Be The Match Foundation, ALSAC/St. Jude Research Hospital, and Boy Scouts of America. Through these experiences, Brandon fostered expertise in cultivating new partnerships, developing strategic plans, implementing programs, recruiting and leading volunteers, providing leadership in prospect identification and leadership, and managing fundraising staff.


Brandon graduated from The University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. He is a Certified Fundraising Executive and holds a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University. Brandon also serves the Greater Nashville community as a City Council Member, chairing the Health, Hospitals, and Social Services Committee and serving as a member of the Affordable Housing, and Public Safety Committees.
