Ninjia Miles, MPA, CFRM, is a millennial fundraiser possessing a breadth of fundraising knowledge in individual and major giving, donor engagement, stewardship, board governance and development, and development operations. She has supported higher education institutions, human services organizations, community-based organizations, and youth serving organizations.
Ninjia currently serves as Director of Development at BU Wellness Network where she is the first fundraiser in the organization’s history. She has developed the fundraising program from the ground up and raised over $1.2M in support, doubling the organization’s operating budget in one year.
An active member of the philanthropic community, Ninjia is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, African American Development Officers Network, and F3: Fabulous Female Fundraisers. She also serves on the board of directors of Reach for Youth, Inc, a youth-serving organization focused on providing second chances.
Ninjia received her MPA in nonprofit management and policy analysis from the Paul. H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University and her BA in Sociology from Centenary College of Louisiana. She received her Certification in Fundraising Management from The Fundraising School at the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
